The meeting was called to order by President, Bob Johnson, at 7:10 p.m. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted. The Treasurer's Report was read and accepted. Kappa Omicron chapter has $1160.80 in its 315 account and $40.74 in the 315 BX account. Estimated expenses were $1147. This was broken down into $925 to the acquisition fund, $200 to the Student Union for benches, and $22 miscellaneous. Estimated balances is $13.80 at $40.74 in the checking account. Projected income for the chapter he is $120 for seat pads and $100 plus corsages.
Moved: that the chapter reconsider pricing of the seat pads. This was passed
Moved: seat pads that he sold henceforth for $1.25. Withdrawn.
Amendment: seat pads may be rented for $1.25 with return of $1.00 when the seat that is returned. This was defeated.
Amendment: to change the price of the pad to $1.00. This was also withdrawn.
Move: A committee be formed for the Corsage Sale, with Dirk Lust and Joe Kielic being the co-chairman. There was no second for this motion
Move: that the date of the APO dance be changed from February 1 to March 6 or March 13. This was defeated.
There will be nominations for the chapter offices on November 18. Nominations will again be open on November 25. The election of new offices will take place on December 2. The December 9, the brothers will vote on the pledges. Initiation of new brothers will take place on December 13.
The nominating committee will be Jack Kooyoomjian, Don Kawash, Lorin Johnson, Dan Dwyer, Bob Morgan, Mark Cheren, and Bob Johnson.
There will be an off-campus party on November 23.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:18 p.m.
